FAQ

  • How to wash knit/crochet pieces?

I highly recommend spot cleaning or hand washing pieces in cool water with a little bit of wool soap (light detergent or dish soap works too.) Gently squeeze out excess water and lay flat to dry. This is the best way to ensure the lasting quality of these detailed, handmade pieces <3

  • How to store pieces?

Knit and crochet pieces naturally stretch out a little over time. Stitches can get very stretched out if pieces are hung on hangers. To preserve the shape and stitches of your piece, I recommend folding them and storing in drawers, shelves, etc.

  • How do you source materials?

I largely source materials (yarn, charms, etc.) from my local nonprofit secondhand art store, which relies on donations of supplies. I also get materials from thrift stores, antique stores, and when I can’t find what I need secondhand, I buy materials from craft stores. My goal is to use preexisting materials in order to be sustainable.

  • What sustainability practices do you use?

I try to use as many secondhand materials as possible. I also keep yarn scraps from all my projects and sort them into lengths that are too short to tie together and longer pieces. I like to use small pieces of yarn as stuffing for pieces like pillows and amigurumi. Longer pieces are tied together to be knit or crocheted into pieces in my ”Scrappy” series. Additionally, I use recycled packaging to ship pieces.

  • Are patterns for pieces available?

I do not use or make patterns, so I don’t have any to sell :) I design knit and crochet piece mainly with intuition and sketches.

  • Refunds/Cancellations?

Please read item descriptions and look at photos carefully to get all information available about them. If you have more questions before buying a piece, please feel free to email or send a DM on Instagram. Orders can be cancelled before being shipped, just reach out to us! Unworn, unaltered items can be returned within two weeks of shipping at the customer’s expense. Please reach out before sending back items to ensure you can get a refund. The deposit for custom commissions is non-refundable, as I am putting in labor, time, and materials to begin the piece.
