Designed with smaller amounts of yarn I thrift or have saved from other projects, these pieces are simple in silhouette and each display a one-of-a-kind mosaic of yarns in organic shapes of color

Sustainably Sourced Materials
Slow fashion is the name of the game! Many of the yarns, charms, laces, and other materials I use to make wearable art are sourced from art re-use stores and thrift stores that rely on donations. I look for tactile and colorful yarn that would be fun to experience as I crochet or knit. No patterns are used, as I freestyle knit and crochet each piece. I’m determined to make finished pieces that are one-of-a-kind and made with no waste left behind.

Knit and crochet are traditional methods of textile making that have been used to clothe and protect people from their environment for many, many generations. Fiber art requires skilled use of tools and yarn to form and connect thousands upon thousands of individual stitches into a united, three-dimensional article of clothing.
